DIY Headband Holder

I’ve been at a loss at what to do with Lucy’s headbands. I can pile them on her dresser (as I’ve been doing) or put them in a basket. That’s the extent of the options I’ve come up with.

Until now. Joe had a brilliant idea for a DIY headband holder, and it was probably the easiest project ever. Seriously. A couple coats of paint, some ribbons and you’re done. It’s that simple.

We got a letter holder from Hobby Lobby (on sale for $6 — the total cost for this project).

We sprayed on one coat of primer, and then sprayed on pink paint. I tied ribbons to the ends to make it look cuter. The ribbons and paint we already had on hand, so this was a super frugal project, and it turned out great!

I haven’t decided yet whether I’m going to hang this on the wall (possibly by her bow holder) or stand it up on her dresser. That’s one thing I really love about this project — it’s so versatile. Love it!
